On our way to the food festival, you can see the sign on the bridge leading to the island where it is held.
A little taste of how classy and nice everything was. This was one of the booze booths.
Delicious Roast Pig!
A plate of delicious roasted pig with great skin, homemade chips, salad and a role. (Naturally the 6 of us shared everything)
Adorable Tiffany with her special Prague Food Festival Fork! And thats Johnny in the background in the white and black jacket. Its the only picture I was able to get of him.
Beef Gravlax (tasted like pro-shoot-o, thats right, phonetics) with a rocket salad. It was a perfect combo.
Mushroom risotto with truffle oil.
Creepy. Weird. Good. Its "the best duck dish." It consisted of toast with cheese and then some good duck and caramelized onions with a nice sauce.
Yeah, I'm jealous of their hats.
Its a bread cauldron!
Peter and Me being nerds with our strawberry beverage.
A free sample of something with eggplant and tuna that was pretty bland.
The best beef goulash! It will make all other goulashes failures.
Prague Cake! It was soooo sweet.
Matt, I believe he may have been annoyed at me for taking pictures of food and not people..
Wines that we tasted. No one had the rose. But in order of tasters I believe it goes Johnny, Me, Marissa, and Peter. I lucked out and got the best one :)
Tiffany with some really light tiramisu and ricotta with bufala mozerella, it was one of the best dishes we had. And this begins the "honeymoon" phase of the day, we were in such bliss, it was awesome.
Peter contemplating life by the river with prosecco and strawberries.
Look at how beautiful the day was.
An odd building.
Matt enjoying the day.
Sad, empty plates.
Peter in the "honeymoon" phase.
Marissa, also entering the "honeymoon" phase.
Please note the Jesus light on the pistachio dessert we got from the only michelin star chef in Prague.
What a pretty day.
Really awesome truffles, I think we were only supposed to get six but the guy serving us was so happy and dancing to the salsa music that he just went to town.
Really great Cassis drink that Peter and I got to sample.
And we ended the day with mango creme brulee which was excellent, and shared some wine which was not so excellent. I think this was the first day that we were all so happy.
